Job Description:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and organised Repairs Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of a busy Repairs service within the social housing sector.

This role is essential to ensuring smooth administrative processes, accurate communication, and timely support for both internal teams and residents. The successful candidate will be part of a fast-paced environment focused on delivering excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to emails in the Repairs and communal repairs mailboxes
  • Support supervisors and operatives with administrative tasks and scheduling
  • Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
  • Assist with monitoring job progress and reporting
  • Liaise with residents, contractors, and internal departments to ensure clear communication
  • Help prioritise and escalate urgent issues appropriately
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider team and Office Manager

Candidate Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills with a proactive and solution-focused approach
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general administrative systems
  • Previous experience in a housing or repairs environment is desirable but not essential
