Job Description: Plasterer – Social Housing (Voids, Planned & Reactive Maintenance)

Overview

We are looking for an experienced, time-served Plasterer to join our maintenance team supporting social housing properties across Warwick. The role covers void refurbishments, planned works, and reactive maintenance, ensuring homes are safe, presentable, and ready for occupation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out high?quality plastering work across occupied and void social housing properties

  • Complete patch repairs, full skims, bonding, boarding, and general making-good

  • Work on both planned maintenance programmes and responsive repair jobs

  • Ensure all work meets required standards and complies with health & safety regulations

  • Liaise professionally with tenants, supervisors, and other trades

  • Maintain accurate job records and report any additional works required

  • Deliver work efficiently to meet deadlines and turnaround targets

Requirements

  • Must be local to Warwick or within a reasonable commuting distance

  • Time-served plasterer with proven experience in domestic or social housing settings

  • Strong skills in skimming, boarding, patching, and finishing

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team

  • Good communication and customer service skills

  • Full UK driving licence (if required by employer)

  • Own tools essential

Desirable

  • Experience working in social housing or void property environments

  • Multi?trade skills (basic carpentry, tiling, or decorating)

  • Valid CSCS card
