Floor Layer – Social Housing (Temp to Perm)

We’re looking for an experienced Floor Layer to join a busy reactive maintenance contract in Liverpool, working with a respected social housing provider. This is a temp to perm opportunity, offering long-term stability and the chance to become a valued member of a skilled maintenance team.

Role Overview:

• Installing and repairing flooring in tenanted social housing properties

• Specialising in cap and cove and Polysafe flooring

• Preparing surfaces, fitting vinyls, and ensuring high-quality finishes

• Working in kitchens, bathrooms, and communal areas

• Liaising with planners and tenants to ensure smooth job delivery

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Floor Layer in social housing or domestic settings

• Skilled in cap and cove techniques and Polysafe flooring systems

• Strong attention to detail and pride in your finish

• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

• Full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)

• Willingness to work on a temp to perm basis
