Electrician – Social Housing (Temp to Perm)

Pay: £25.96 with van and fuel card + potential for permanent role

We’re currently recruiting for a qualified and reliable Electrician to join a busy social housing maintenance contract in Staines. This is a temp to perm opportunity, offering long-term career potential with a respected housing provider delivering high-quality electrical services across tenanted properties.

Role Overview:

• Carrying out reactive repairs, EICRs, remedial works, and minor installations

• Diagnosing faults and completing works to NICEIC standards

• Working in occupied homes with a focus on safety and customer care

• Maintaining accurate records and certification

• Liaising with planners and supervisors to ensure smooth job delivery

What We’re Looking For:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations

• 2391 or equivalent Testing & Inspection qualification (preferred)

• Experience in social housing or domestic maintenance

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
