• About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to join our growing Social Housing Maintenance team, delivering high-quality works across void properties and major works projects.

The successful candidate will have strong core skills in Carpentry and Plumbing, with the ability to undertake a variety of additional trade tasks to ensure properties are returned to a safe, lettable, and high standard for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out void property refurbishment works.
• Complete planned and major works within occupied and unoccupied social housing properties.
• Perform first and second fix carpentry works.
• Undertake plumbing repairs and installation works.
• Carry out basic plastering and patch repairs.
• Complete painting and decorating tasks to a high standard.
• Fit and repair various flooring types.
• Undertake minor tiling, making good, and general maintenance works.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with supervisors and tenants.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working within social housing maintenance, voids, or refurbishment projects.
• Strong Carpentry skills (essential).
• Strong Plumbing skills (essential).
• Experience in:
  • Painting & Decorating
  • Flooring Installation & Repairs
  • Basic Plastering
  • General Multi-Trade Maintenance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
