Skilled Labourer – Ongoing Work & Progression
Location: Cuddington, Cheshire & surrounding areas
Job Type: Self-Employed / CIS
Pay: £120 per day, with the opportunity to increase with progression
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
Duration: Ongoing
Start: ASAP following a successful trial period
We are currently recruiting for a Skilled Labourer to join a busy and expanding building contractor based in Cuddington, Cheshire.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is hands-on, reliable and looking for ongoing work with a company where they can progress. The company has multiple projects underway and is continuing to grow, so there is potential for the right person to build a long-term future with the business.
The Role
We are looking for a Skilled Labourer who is confident working on building sites and happy getting stuck into a variety of tasks.
The role will involve supporting the trades on site as well as carrying out general building and labouring duties. Someone with additional skills across areas such as joinery, brickwork, roofing, groundwork or general maintenance would be ideal.
The Work
You could be involved in a variety of projects, including:
- New house builds
- Extensions
- Roofing and repairs
- Brickwork
- Joinery and carpentry assistance
- Renovations and refurbishments
- General building works
- Loading, unloading and moving materials
- Preparing areas for trades
- General site duties
- Helping tradespeople across different projects

- Self-employed / CIS
- Immediate start available following a successful trial
Requirements
- Previous experience working on building/construction sites
- Skilled or experienced in general building work
- Good practical skills and a willingness to get stuck in
- Reliable and hardworking
- Good standard of workmanship
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- CSCS desirable but not essential
- Own transport preferred initially
- Full UK driving licence required for the company van opportunity
- Willing to complete a short trial period
