Flagger / Groundworker Required – Knowsley

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Flagger / Groundworker to work on social housing projects throughout the Knowsley area.

This role involves carrying out external improvement works to residential properties, with a particular focus on installing and repairing access steps and pathways to front doors for residents with reduced mobility. The work plays an important role in improving accessibility and quality of life for tenants within the local community.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term work and the chance to join a well-established team on a permanent basis.

Duties will include:

  • Laying flags, paving slabs and pathways
  • Constructing and repairing steps to residential properties
  • Carrying out groundwork and preparation works
  • Installing safe and accessible entrances for residents with mobility issues
  • Measuring and setting out work areas
  • Mixing and preparing materials as required
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Flagger or Groundworker is essential
  • Experience laying paving and constructing steps
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
  • Reliable, hardworking and professional attitude
