(Plastering Specialist) — Job Description
Role Overview
The Multi?Trade Operative will deliver high?quality repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works across domestic and commercial properties, with plastering as the primary trade. The role requires a versatile professional capable of completing a wide range of building tasks to a high standard, ensuring safe, efficient, and customer?focused service.
Key Responsibilities

Plastering Works — Carry out all aspects of plastering including skimming, bonding, patch repairs, boarding, rendering, and finishing to a high standard.

Multi?Trade Repairs — Undertake complementary tasks such as basic carpentry, tiling, painting, minor plumbing, and general building maintenance.

Property Maintenance — Diagnose issues, complete remedial works, and ensure properties are left clean, safe, and ready for occupation.

Health & Safety Compliance — Follow all site safety procedures, risk assessments, and safe working practices.

Customer Service — Communicate professionally with tenants, clients, and colleagues, providing clear updates and maintaining a positive service experience.

Quality Assurance — Ensure all work meets company standards, building regulations, and agreed specifications.
Essential Skills & Experience

Plastering Expertise — Proven experience delivering high?quality plastering work across various surfaces and environments.

Multi?Trade Ability — Competence in at least two additional trades (e.g., joinery, tiling, painting, basic plumbing).

Problem?Solving — Ability to assess issues, identify solutions, and complete tasks efficiently.

Tool Proficiency — Confident using a wide range of hand and power tools.

Time Management — Capable of working independently, managing workloads, and meeting deadlines.

Driving Licence — Full UK driving licence (if the role requires travel between sites).
Desirable Qualifications

NVQ Level 2/3 in Plastering or equivalent trade certification.

CSCS Card.
