About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Fire Service & Maintenance Engineer who can hit the ground running and deliver high?quality service across a range of life?safety systems. Due to tight call?out KPI requirements, applicants must be based near Wythenshawe to ensure rapid response times.

You’ll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and minor repairs of:

  • Fire Alarm Systems

  • AOV (Automatic Opening Ventilation) Systems

  • Emergency Lighting

  • FFE (Fire Fighting Equipment)

We work with a wide range of systems, so experience with platforms such as Protec, Advanced, and FireClass is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and testing of fire safety systems.

  • Diagnose faults and complete remedial works efficiently.

  • Respond to call-outs within agreed KPI timeframes.

  • Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant standards and regulations.

  • Provide clear, accurate reporting and documentation.

  • Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company on-site.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Fire Service or Fire Alarm Engineer.

  • Strong technical knowledge across fire alarms, AOVs, emergency lighting, and FFE.

  • Familiarity with systems such as Protec, Advanced, FireClass, or similar.

  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Must live close to Wythenshawe to meet call-out response requirements.
