Overview
We are looking for a skilled and customer?focused Plumber to join our Property Services team, delivering high?quality repairs, maintenance, and installation works across our social housing stock. You’ll play a key role in ensuring residents live in safe, comfortable homes by providing efficient and reliable plumbing services.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out a wide range of plumbing tasks, including:

Reactive repairs to leaks, blockages, and domestic pipework

Installation and repair of taps, toilets, baths, showers, and sinks

Hot and cold water system maintenance
-
Drainage repairs and unblocking
-
Radiator and heating system repairs (non?gas tasks unless qualified)

Complete responsive repairs, planned maintenance, and void property works.

Diagnose plumbing issues on site and determine the most effective repair solution.

Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations, safety standards, and organisational procedures.

Maintain accurate job records using handheld devices or job sheets.

Work respectfully in occupied homes, ensuring minimal disruption to residents.

Collaborate with supervisors, planners, and other trades to deliver a seamless service.

Follow all health and safety requirements, including safe use of tools and equipment.

Represent the organisation professionally at all times.
Essential Skills & Experience
-
Proven experience as a Plumber, ideally within social housing or domestic environments.

NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification).

Strong diagnostic and problem?solving skills.

Good understanding of water regulations and general building safety.
-
Full UK driving licence (company vehicle may be provided).
Desirable

Experience working in occupied properties.

Multi?trade skills (e.g., basic tiling, plastering, or joinery).

Unvented hot water qualification (G3).
-
Knowledge of social housing standards and void property processes.
